If you are interested in playing a high school spring sport, we offer softball, baseball, girls lacrosse, boys lacrosse, girls tennis, boys tennis, girls golf, sailing, track & field and unified track & field.
*Participation numbers will dictate how many levels (varsity/jv/freshman)
REGISTRATION IS OPEN
In order to play a spring sport, you must register on FamilyID HERE. The deadline to register is Friday, March 14th at 8:00pm.
*If you register after this deadline, you are not eligible to try out on day 1. You may try out starting on day 2 if registration is completed after the deadline.
SWAY TESTING
Upon registration, you will be notified if you need to complete sway testing. Testing is scheduled for Tuesday, March 4th – Thursday, March 6th from 3-5pm in the Yoga Room.
PHYSICAL
You will need to have a valid in-person physical (within the last 13 months) on file prior to participation. Please schedule this ASAP so you will be cleared to participate.
TRYOUTS/PRACTICE START DATES
Please note that the first day of spring sports is Monday, March 17th. Tryouts run the first 2-3 days that week. Practice schedules will be posted on www.nausetsports.org and shared very soon.
*Please note that the spring season will run through the end of May, with state tournament qualifiers continuing through early June.
NAUSET REGIONAL MS 8TH GRADE PARTICIPATION
In order to increase opportunities for student-athletes and fill out high school rosters, we are offering NRMS 8th grade participation in the following spring sports:
JV Softball, Girls JV Lacrosse, Boys JV Lacrosse & Sailing
*8th graders must tryout/play at the lowest level (V/JV/F) offered, per MIAA waiver rules
TEAM CUTS
If a student-athlete is cut from a sport, they are welcome to join a non-cut sport pending approval of the Director of Athletics and Head Coach.
SPRING SPORTS MANDATORY MEETING
The spring sports parent/athlete meeting is scheduled for Thursday, March 13th at 6:00pm in the NRHS Auditorium. Student-athletes should attend with a parent/guardian. Each team will meet briefly following the general session. This is a great opportunity to meet our coaches and ask program-specific questions.

NAUSET WARRIORS BOOSTER CLUB
The NWBC supports all of our high school athletic programs. It is comprised of parent volunteers who help to provide the best possible experience for our student-athletes. State Tournament coach buses, Hudl filming/livestreaming subscription, various equipment upgrades and college scholarships are just a few of the ongoing projects.
