Joe Navas

Girls Varsity Indoor Track
Joe Navas is a graduate of Nauset Regional High School. While there he was an outstanding tennis player on a string of successful teams. During his early thirties Navas re-invented himself as a distance runner, becoming one of Cape Cod’s most successful runners. From 5K’s to marathons, he became a force to be reckoned with. Blending his healthy lifestyle with passions of photography and music, Navas has found a niche that works with his laid back Cape Cod lifestyle.
Yet, something was missing. It turned out that he wanted to give back to both the community and school – to help others enjoy and achieve through running. His effect on the Nauset program has been immediate. Respected by both athletes and fellow coaches, Navas is fast becoming the new face of Nauset track.
