The match on Friday was a game of two different halves. The Warriors came out sluggish and gave up a goal in the first minute of play on a cross from the right wing that was finished in front by an unmarked Barnstable Red Raider. The early goal put Barnstable on the front foot and they continued to control the play in the early going. Barnstable tallied twice withing 2 minutes at the 18 minute mark to take a commanding 3-0 lead. The Warriors began to apply some pressure but were unable to break through before the half. Nauset came out of the break and took the play to the Red Raiders. Will Sutton and Will Shackleford were controlling the midfield with Tyler Packettt and Julius Wanamaker creating chances up top. Will Sutton scored at the 5th minute of the second half with a driven shot from just outside the box. Nauset continued to pressure but were unable to score again for a 3-1 final.
