Nauset battled Marshfield to a scoreless tie in the first half of Thursday's match. Marshfield had the Warriors under pressure for a good part of the first half but was unable to score against the defensive play of Alex Cowing, Sean O'Sullivan, Jack Loomis and goalkeeper Dylan Bengston. Marshfield opened the scoring just 2 minutes into the second half on a far-post header off a corner kick. They doubled their lead just 4 minutes later on a through ball.Marshfield tallied again before Nauset got on the scoreboard at the 17th minute on an individual effort by Joe Duarte.
