The Warriors traveled to Falmouth on Thursday to take on the Clippers on blustery day. The game was rescheduled from Wednesday due to weather. The pitch was a bit spongy and the footing tough because of the rain from the previous days. Falmouth got on the board in the 5th minute when a through, splitting Nauset's defense, ball sent a Clipper in all alone on goalkeeper Dylan Bengston. The Warriors were playing well and equalized in the 9th minute when Ray Rowell broke down the left wing and sent in a driven cross that Sam Walters got on the end of and finished. Nauset kept the pressure up and created opportunities but were unable to capitalize on any of it's chances. The score was 1-1 at the half. Nauset, playing against the wind in the second half, kept the ball but were unable to break the deadlock. Falmouth capitalized on two of their few chances to score in the second half for a 3-1 win. Sam Walters and Jason Fancy played well in the loss. Next match is Tuesday as the Warriors host Plymouth South.
