The Warriors hosted the Plymouth South Panthers on a perfect fall day for soccer. The visitors jumped on the host less than 2 minutes into the match to take the lead on a breakaway. The Panthers had the best of the early play and were taking it to the Warriors. Nauset fended off the attacks and began to take the play to Plymouth South half way through the first half. The hosts settled down and played some nice possession soccer but were unable to break through.

The teams continued the evenly matched play in the second half. The Warriors pressing the Panthers in their own end. Nauset evened the score 20 minutes into the second half when Graham Larson's corner kick was one-timed into the back of the net by Will "Shack" Shackleford. Nauset was unable to hold the lead as Plymouth scored off a corner kick 10 minutes later for a final score of 2-1. Goalkeeper Dylan Bengston made some key saves despite the loss. The play of Tyler Callahan, Will Shackleford, Graham Larson and Ansel Dickey was key in the midfield. Sean O'Sullivan, Alex Cowing and Jack Loomis played well in defense.

The match was a well contested and hard fought match on both sides. Next match is home against Bishop Stang, Friday at 3:30 as part of the homecoming festivities.
