Nauset hosted Bishop Stang on a picture perfect fall afternoon in North Eastham as part of the weeks homecoming festivities. It was an exciting, back and forth, well played match by both teams.

The Warriors got off to a good start and scored just 6 minutes into the action on a brilliant individual effort by Pakkapon "Man" Thammachamom. Man dribbled through three defenders and slotted the ball to the far corner from just inside the penalty area. Both teams had chances but were unable to score and the teams went into the half -time break 1-0 in favor of Nauset.

Bishop Stang came out at the beginning of the second half and put the pressure on the Warriors. The visitors broke through at the 7 minute mark and again at the 12th minute to take a 2-1 lead. Nauset equalized in the 17th minute on a nice combination play that set Julius Wanamaker up for a driven shot from the right side of the goal that deflected off a defender for the equalizer. The match was back and forth, up and down with both teams getting chances. The visitors took the lead at 3-2 in the 24th minute. The hosts showed heart and determination as they got the equalizer with less than five minutes to play. Tyler Callahan crossed the ball from deep on the right side and Will Shackleford one-timed it into the back of the net for a final score of 3-3. 

The Warriors next match is Monday, October 18 when they host Marshfield with a 4:00 PM kick-off.
