This was a very good if anxious game to watch. Both sides were physical, fast, and keen to win.  Warriors were building creative and well constructed attacks, making special use out of Mente McMillan's speed on the outside wing. Ryan Pish scored a brilliant goal six minutes into the contest by pushing the ball away from the defender with the outside of his foot and hitting a left footer from 35 yards out which sailed over the head of the Marshfield keeper. Rams struck against the run of play ten minutes later to make the score 1-1 at half. About 20 minutes into the second half Rams scored again on a counter attack after a missed clearance, and the pressure was on the Warriors to find a way to score. That way came in the form of Aidan Salzano in the 35th minute getting on the end of a loose ball in the box.  Warriors threatened with a couple more chances including a dangerous looking header, but could not come up with the game winner. Owen Wilcox  owned the back line and came up with several critical and courageous wins to stop the Ram attack.
