This was one of the landmark victories of the season.  Rams came out with intensity and energy and a very high defensive line.  Midway through the first half, Warriors miscleared a ball which the Rams quickly switched to find the opposite midfielder who put the ball far post to  put them up 1-0. At half we knew that we had the will and means to break through their defensive line and 15 minutes into the second half we proved it. Justin King played a perfectly timed ball to the running feet of Vance Bates, who calmly pushed the ball toward the Ram keeper and then buried in the side netting.  Five minutes later in what has to have been one of the gutsiest goals of the season. Aidan Salzano broke free on a run behind the defense, played the ball past the keeper, then chased the ball which was going just wide of the mark and slid tackled the ball into the net.  The team erupted with joy.  Ozzy Perez put the game out of reach by skinning two players in the box and drawing the foul for the PK, which Ben Mulholland calmly and easily finished.  Mente McMillan later placed a perfect ball in front of the net which the warriors were unable to finish.  Daiver Perez was the stand out on defense while Ben M. controlled the better part of the midfield.
