Warriors got off to a great start and took the game to the Red Raiders.  We were excited to be on the turf but unused to being able to play the ball so wide.  As a result, some of our balls were too direct and we did not take advantage of the opportunity to switch fields as often as we should have. Holding midfielder Cormack Parker turned that part of our game around in the second half by looking up before he received the ball and driving the ball wide for our outside midfielders.  Tesfu Kerse-McMillin served up a great cross from the left side which Avery Santoro buried in the back of the net with a header for our first score.  Avery earned the second half of his brace with a solo drive to beat the Barnstable inside back and then carefully placed the ball in the far post side netting from the 12.  Our Man Off The Bench Award goes to Colin Terrio who did everything right.  Defensively, he tracked the ball well, stayed connected to the midfielders, and won important 50/50 balls.  As a midfielder he created chances by playing one twos with other midfielders and made great runs to and crosses from the corners.
