It was a physical and a mental battle on a small field in not-so-friendly territory, but Warriors acquitted themselves very well. After playing compact and disciplined for three quarters of the game, and giving up just 1 goal thanks to the hard work of the back line (Sunny, Ryan, Daiver, and Justin) and a few critical saves by keeper Errnie Largey, Warrior changed formation and went on the attack. Several chances were created, but it wasn't until the last several minutes of the game when Avery Santoro won a free kick 15 yards outside the box that danger loomed large for the New Bedford squad. Cormic Parker played a perfectly curled ball to the six yard line near back post where Avery volleyed it into the back of the net. Warrior JV remain undefeated against NB for the third year in a row!
