We agreed that an early start was crucial for us and that is exactly what Malcolm Plum gave us in the form of our first goal in regular season in the 4th minute thanks to a nice assist from Derek Perry. 20 minutes later Will Schiffer added a second off of a scramble in the box. 4 minutes into the second half, Captain Chris Pombo gave us our insurance goal off of a nice diagonal ball from captain Artie O'Neill. Freshman Caelan Donovan performed very well at center back, and Captain Connor Cushing won some important balls in the middle and helped with distribution on our attack.
