Nauset showed what they can do even when missing key players due to injury, taking Cape Tech to 5 games as compared to 3 and out last time. Looking at the stat sheet for that match I don't know how we lost. Kalya Smith had 11 kills along with 5 aces to lead the girls attack while Makayla Allen had 3 kills and 4 aces. Emma Odell and Maraina Raimer both had two kills apiece and Mckenzie Abraham had three aces. With all the pieces of the puzzle in place the outcome may have been different but the girls dug deep and played up to the level I expected them to.
