Nauset boys defeated Sturgis 18-39 on the challenging course at Bayberry Hills Golf Club in South Yarmouth. Duncan Howes won the race in 18:47, Andrew Herwig took second in 18:55, running most of the race with an impressive nosebleed. Kyle Vautrinot finished fourth in 19:44, once again just edging Lukas Scott (5th 19:45) by 1 second. Freshman Andrew Burke continued his late season flurry with a sixth place finish in 20:03. Todd Avery took a close tenth spot from Nathan Scalise by 3 seconds in 20:38.

All in all it was a great effort against a good Sturgis team which we beat by just 3 points on Homecoming a couple of weeks ago.
