Nauset Harriers had an exceptional team race day at their first away meet against Falmouth. Seven of the top 10 runners were from Nauset and almost all of the runners had improvements in their mile split times. Lead again by Brian Brooks with the time of 14:29 on the 2.7 mile course (he improved his freshman time by 51 seconds), Jake Pearl was second, followed by the Nauset pack of Jake Whitfield fourth, Captain Koki Riley fifth (and 55 seconds improvement from 2014), Jake Eldridge seventh, Colin Nobili eighth, and Matt Daniels-Dielh ninth. One Falmouth runner slipped in before our second pack dominated with Luke Savini 11th, and three freshmen Aidan Dill 12th, Tyler Hutchinson 13th, and Keiran Norton 14th. The third pack was strong with Christian Augat 18th, Keenan Pombo 19th, Noah Smith 20th, Brendan Hamaty 21st, and Christian Beer 22nd. Rounding it up to complete the pack mentality was Spencer Granlund 24th, Cameron Mcmartin 25th, Hunter McDonald 26th, Zach Ross 27th, and Logan Benz 28th. All of the boys worked really hard on keeping in contact with each other to run in strong groups and keep the team momentum going. Great effort by everyone and a real sense of unity.
