Nauset Wins!

The meet had a delayed start due to a passing thunderstorm. Conditions were not optimal as runners had to deal with cooler temperatures, mud, and puddles throughout the course. Runners were cold and wet at the start line due to the sudden downpour prior to the warm-up tour.
Leading the way however, was once again Nauset's Robyn Argo posting a 21:28. She beat the entire field convincingly. (approx. :45 sec) Sarah Knop had to fight off PS's #1 runner and was able to do so by :15 sec. Jenny Leyton placed 4th overall (one minute behind Knop). Marina Wells placed 8th while Haley Vaness was 9th. Ally Kemp and Irene Lynch followed next.
Happy Birthday to Margaret Clancy. Her 27:29 was good for 14th out of 21 runners today.
