Nauset women warriors take 1,2,3,4 at Cape Cod Academy XC meet.

Another W in the win column today. As Nauset out scores CCA 16-44.

Leading the way for Nauset was Robyn Argo who placed first and re-set her previous course record on the CCA 5k trails with a 20:56. Second went to Marina Wells, third place to Sarah Knop, and rounding out the important fourth place finish was freshman Jenny Leyton, who ran a pb!

Cassidy Bissell had a personal best time today of 28:25

And congrats to Alex Malloy who dropped some time from TUES!!!!

Overall, the Nauset lady warriors were tired! Plymouth North (Tues) really challenged us and running some distance yesterday (with puddles all over the trails) pushed us to the limit. Those Women Warriors, however, that found a way to run ALL WEEK....deserve a high five from Coach Katie!

Thank you captains for your hard work and continued great leadership. And to Marina Wells- thank you for taking time to make all the inspirational notes for the XC race today. Little gestures like that go a long way.

Hang in there ladies. No races until the big homecoming TRI-MEET Oct 15. Let's enjoy some well deserved time off this weekend and then get ready for some challenging workouts in the days to come.
