The Nauset Girls XC team ran away with first place bragging rights at the ACL League Championships held at DY High School. Sandwich-2nd, DY-3rd, Falmouth-4th and Marshfield-5th rounded out the ACL team rankings on the day.
Madaket Nobili, Callie Schadt and Olivia Bois came across the line 1, 2, 3 respectively in the Varsity race outpacing the next fastest ACL runner (Marshfield) by :10 seconds. Emily Wall was Nauset's 4th runner in placing 9th overall while Hannah Bryant (23rd) took the 5th scoring position for Nauset. Freshman Hannah Brunelle (24th) set a new PR today as well with a 22:52 for the 3.1 mile run.
Other runners placing in the top 15 in the JV 3.1 mile race were: Rebecca Dawley, Georgia Benz, Nika Dadoly, Alexis Comeau and Joy Trudel.
