The Nauset girls XC team managed to win their home opener while also staying ahead of the early evening rain!
At 5:40 pm Madaket Nobili and the Nauset Warriors kicked off their season against Canton high school and won convincingly 16-40. Nobili blazed to the finish line first in 20:52. The next 3 places went to Nauset respectively: Tara Ellard 21:50, Emily Wall 22:47, and Olivia Bois 23:07. The fifth runner across the line was Canton's J. Polsgrove at 23:45. Hannah Brunelle was #6 for Nauset, clocking a 24:14 while Rebecca Dawley of Nauset placed 10th with a 25:19. The closest race of the night was between Claire Wardlaw 25:34 and Rebecca Pranga 25:34 crossing the line for a photo finish!
