The Nauset GXC team kept their winning streak alive today as they beat Marshfield at home 25-31. The girls are now 3-0 on the season. Madaket Nobili crossed the finish line first (19:55) with a tremendous kick that left Marshfield's #1 runner 20 seconds behind. Nobili's 19:55 is the new course record (as the course was shortened   to an official 5k/3.1 mile race instead of the 3.2)

Tara Ellard was 3rd overall at 20:37 with Emily Wall close behind in 4th at 21:16. Olivia Bois grabbed 6th in 22:18 while Hannah Brunelle ran her seasons best race in 23:01. Marshfield had a strong pack in the middle which was 4 deep but it wasn't enough to take out Nauset's top pack in the front. Anna Crowell was Nauset's #6 runner in placing 14th and Rebecca Dawley was #7 for Nauset placing 15th. Georgia Benz and Sonja Berqusit were back in action running well and placing 16th and 17th respectively.  Nauset will face Falmouth next.
