The undefeated ACL champs were at it again Saturday night, this time winning their biggest prize of the season; 1st place in the Div 2 girls varsity race at the prestigious TWILIGHT INVITATIONAL. The Nauset girls dominated the field, collectively teaming up to beat out the top Div 2 teams from around the state by over two minutes. Madaket Nobili (2nd place) covered what is known to be the fastest 5k course in the region in 18:00, just :3 seconds off Littleton HS front runner, Sarah Ruffman, 1st place (17:57). Nobili was thrilled with her career best time and looks forward to facing Ruffman again in a few weeks at the All-State meet. Tara Ellard was 8th overall, recording a career best as well, 18:44. Next across the line for Nauset was freshman Rachel Pranga (14th- 19:06) who continues to drop time setting Nauset up for what might be an Eastern, MA Divisional State title in 2 weeks. Izzy Nobili (24th- 19:36) and Ella Kelly (43rd- 20:09) were the next two in for Nauset, running strong and steady throughout the 5k course securing the overall team victory for Nauset.
