An impressive swan song for senior Madaket Nobili as she cruised to the finish line first in her final ACL appearance on October 28th. Nobili set a new course record (17:56) while also setting a personal record in the 5k distance at the ACL Championships held at the Marshfield Fairgrounds. The Nauset Girls won the overall team title as they capped their perfect season undefeated. Tara Ellard ran a gutsy race as she out kicked DY's Sydney McCann in the last half mile grabbing second place and setting a career best time, 18:36. Rounding out the top five spots for Nauset were: Rachel Pranga 5th in 19:15, Izzy Nobili 7th in 19:38, and Rebekah Pranga 20th in 21:57.
Also running well and setting best times on the day were: Sonja Berquist, Caroline Donoghue, Hannah Brunelle, Joy Trudel, Leah Hoopes, Madelyn Fleming, and Madeline Kelly.
