The Nauset GXC team ran well today securing many "top 20" finishes in both the Fresh-Soph race and the Jr. -Sr. race. Approximately 20 Massachusetts High Schools competed at Apponequet HS this morning. Sophomore Izzy Nobili posted the fastest time of the day for Nauset as she crossed the line in 15:43, good for second place in the Fresh-Soph division and just one second behind first place (Marshfield Sofia Lovuolo). Soph. Rachel Pranga was close behind grabbing third overall in 15:56. Soph. Ella Kelly was 6th in 16:30 while Soph. Makayla Hutchinson placed 18th in 17:44.
In the Jr.-Sr. race, Jr. Abigale Farrell placed third in 15:59 with Sr. Hannah Brunelle in 9th at 17:23. Jr. Rebekah Pranga placed 20th in 18:05. (Jr. Madeline Kelly- 21st, 18:06)
