The Nauset girls did not disappoint today as they beat a talented Marshfield squad 25-30. Humid and windy conditions were challenging as the girls covered the 3.1 mile home course. Sophomore Rachel Pranga showcased her true colors today as she defeated Marshfield's #1 runner, Sophia Lovuolo. Pranga posted a 20:11 while Lovulo posted 20:18. It was a tight race for the top ten runners today. Several runners changed positions throughout the duration of the race. Abby Farrell (20:35) managed to keep ahead of Marshfield's #2 runner beating her by ten seconds and grabbing third overall. While Ella Kelly posted a seasons best time (21:03) placing 5th overall, third runner in for Nauset. Critical points came from co-captains Izzy Nobili and Hannah Brunelle. Nobili was 4th in for Nauset (21:35) and placed 7th overall while teammate and co-captain Hannah Brunelle (22:09) placed 9th overall (5th for Nauset) beating out Marshfield'd #5.

Many best times were recorded today including head turning performances by Makayla Hutchinson, Maddie Kelly and Leah Hoopes. Congrats to the entire team as it was a collective team effort that secured the win.
