Rachel Pranga and Abby Farrell placed 1st and 2nd respectively and led the Nauset GXC team to 

a 21-38 victory against a talented DY team.  Pranga posted a 19:52 while Farrell had a 20:27. Both times were personal bests on the 3.1 mile home course.  DY's Carly Coughlin placed third in 20:35. Ella Kelly grabbed 4th in 20:59 beating out DY's #2 runner, Amelia Burnett 21:59. Izzy Nobili -6th (22:14), Hannah Brunelle -8th (23:02), Makayla Hutchinson- 9th (23:31), and Maddie Kelly- 10th (23:40) were all critical in today's meet. Freshman Lily Pooler was 17th in 26:05- dropping her 5k time significantly this season. 

The Nauset girls face Sandwich on the road Tues. Oct. 16 in their final ACL matchup. The girls are hopeful for a big win and to clinch the ACL title for the 2018 season. The XC homecoming meet will be held Thursday Oct. 18. Seniors Hannah Brunelle and Bailey Rose will be honored prior to the meet.
