The Nauset girls were head strong and dialed-in today as they clinched the Eastern MA State Sectional title in Wrentham. Faced with difficult conditions (heavy winds and muddy terrain) the girls fought hard to beat the talented Westwood and Foxborough squads. Rachel Pranga was brilliant placing 4th overall in 19:33 while Abby Farrell was 8th in 19:54, Izzy Nobili 13th (20:11) and Ella Kelly 14th (20:16). All 4 girls crossed the line in the top 15 which earned them individual medals. Hannah Brunelle was Nauset's 5th runner in placing 47th in 22:00. Also running well for Nauset was Lily Pooler who posted a personal best coming in as Nauset's #6 runner and Rebekah Pranga who secured the #7 spot for the Warriors. It was a total team effort today and a demonstration of perseverance and a "no-quit" attitude. No amount of miles can replace confidence on the start line.
