Sr. Co-Captain Abby Farrell set a new meet record and the Nauset GXC team added another "W" to the win column making their overall record 5-0. Farrell posted a 15:25 on the 2.6 mile course. Barnstable's Lilly Dedecko (2nd overall 16:16) was a threat for the first half mile but soon dropped off the speedy pace of Farrell who clocked a sub 6 min pace. Other runners performing well and in scoring position for Nauset: Ella Kelly, 3rd 16:30, Shay Risk, 4th 16:38, Jr. Co-Captain Izzy Nobili, 5th 17:18, and Rebekah Pranga, 8th 17:51. Also doing well and posting fast times were Makayla Hutchinson, 9th 18:06, Lily Pooler, 13th 18:46, Maddie Kelly, 15th 19:09, Leah Hoopes, 17th 19:43, and Katie "K-Dog" Farrell, 19th 21:12. The girls will host Bourne HS for Homecoming on Friday Oct. 4th at NRHS.
