BOURNE HIGH SCHOOL: 49
It was a chilly "Homecoming" XC meet but spirit was in the air and the Nauset girls were victorious as they beat Bourne HS 15-49. Many of the girls ran in packs but it was Abby Farrell who grabbed the first place overall individual win crushing the field with a time of 17:15 on the 2.79 mile "special" Homecoming Course. The next runners in were Rebekah Pranga, Makayla Hutchinson, Izzy Nobili, Ella Kelly and Shay Risk who placed 2-6th respectively all crossing the line together with a time of 19:29 in true Homecoming spirit! Maddie Kelly was 8th posting a 20:49 with Leah Hoopes 9th clocking the same time. Rachel Pranga, Lily Pooler and Katie Farrell were on hand supporting the team but were unable to run today. Hoping for speedy recoveries.
The GXC team will race Falmouth next.
