Co-Captains Abby Farrell and Izzy Nobili packed a one-two punch at the Twilight Invitational Saturday night leading the Nauset GXC team to a 3rd place overall finish in the Div 2 5k race. Placing 12th and 13th respectively, both girls posted personal best times (18:54, 18:57) on a cool crisp night racing on a course lit up with white string lights and the clanging of cow bells. The atmosphere was electric and the weather perfect for XC running. Also in the scoring for Nauset was Ella Kelly 19:57, Rebekah Pranga 21:34 and Makayla Hutchinson 21:42. Pranga and Hutchinson have stepped up for the Warriors in recent weeks turning in times over a minute faster than earlier in the season, helping Nauset secure crucial points in the #4 and #5 spots. In addition, high  praise goes to Leah Hoopes 23:04, Maddie Kelly 23:29 and Katie K-Dog Farrell 25:03 for outstanding personal best performances. With 4,000 athletes entered into the 2 day event and 217 Div 2 female runners on the start line, Nauset had an impressive showing.
