MARTHA'S VINEYARD REG HIGH: 0
The girls played a tough match against Martha's Vineyard. Although Nauset dominated a majority of the game, the MV defense was strong and challenged us to the end.
Nauset scored two goals in the last 4 minutes of regulation play. At the 76th minute, Emily McGrath took a shot that hit the cross bar and Lauren Schiffenhaus hit it in. At the 78th minute, Marielle McEnaney served a cross into the middle of the box that Katja Thorup headed perfectly into the net.
Symone Siedewand played a fantastic game in defense, shutting down MV's attack and launching some huge balls for our offense to counter attack.
