Nauset JV dominated the entire game against Barnstable diffusing their attack a majority of the game.
Samantha Gordon scored her first goal at 1:00 minute into the game with a beautiful shot outside the box to start Nauset's attack. Samantha scored her second goal at the 38th minute and continued to pressure their offense throughout the game.
Isabel Pelegrini scored her first goal of the season at the 18th minute. Samantha Gordon passed a perfect ball to Isabel and she smashed it from the top of the box to put Nauset up 2-0. Isabel played an amazing game as our holding midfielder.
Our defensive line outplayed Barnstable's forwards with their speed and superior technical ability.
Michelle Coons (goalie 1st half) and Whitney Enukanube (goalie 2nd half) played great in goal.
Standout players - Neilly Rose (defense), Sonja Bergquist (midfield/forward) and Isabel Pelegrini (midfield)
