Jack Johnson led the way with 2 state qualifying times as the Nauset Boys swept every event against Coyle & Cassidy High School at the Taunton Boys & Girls Club.

Jack placed first in the 200 Freestyle in a state qualifying time of 1:54.66 (4th best in Nauset history) and also added a state qualifying time in the 100 Breaststroke at 1:05.53 (also 4th best). Jack also participated in 2 winning relays.  Oscar Spiegel, Jack, Bryan Gass and Tanner Cornell won the Medley Relay in 1:57.63.  Jake Avery, Kevin Johnson, Jack, and Coleman Norton won the 400 Free Relay in 3:50.46.

Senior Captain Jake Avery also added 2 wins on the day taking the 50 Free in 25.28 and the 100 Butterfly in 1:02.93.  Coleman Norton, Kevin Johnson, Tanner Cornell and Jake won the 200 Free Relay in a time of 1:43.97.

Coleman Norton won the 200 Individual Medley in 2:26.70, followed by teammate Tanner Cornell. Kevin Johnson won the 100 Freestyle in 55.63, followed by Norton.  Cornell won the 500 free followed by Hunter MacDonald swimming the first 500 in his career. Spiegel took the 100 Backstroke in 1:08.47 followed closely by Kevin Johnson.  Taigh Lawless added 2 third places in the 200 Freestyle and 100 Breaststroke.

The Nauset Boys are now 2-0 in the Bay Colony Conference heading into the Cape Cod Classic this Saturday at Sandwich High School.
