The Nauset girls swim team wrapped up their regular dual meet season on a grand scale, beating Barnstable HS 102-66 and clinching the Bay Colony Conference League title. With a perfect record going into the meet, the Nauset girls were primed and ready to perform at the highest level. The Willy's gym pool arena was standing room only, much to the delight of the seniors who were recognized in their very last performance at their home pool. (Capt Shylee Stewart, Capt Olivia Miller, Molly Drake and Maddie Larson)

Nauset won 10 out of 11 races. Individual winners included: Marie Chamberlain in the 200 IM and 100 bk, Julie Hayoun in the 200 free and 100 free, Shylee Stewart in her signature races...the 50 free and 100 breaststroke,  and Hannah Walsh in the 100 fly.  Personal best times went to Juliana O'Hara in the 200 IM, 50 breast and 100 free, Whitney Knowlton- Wardle in the 50 breast, Maddie Larson in the 200 free, and Julie Hayoun in the 200 free. 

The entire team is credited with the victory as it was a total team effort. The girls will compete at the BCC League Champs on Sunday Feb 3 at Bridgewater State College.

From there, the official season is over and only those who have qualified for state sectionals will go on.

The next 2 consecutive weekends (MIT-State Sectionals, Springfield College- All-States )will showcase Nausets finest in postseason action (approx 10 female swimmers)
