BAY COLONY CHAMPIONSHIP MEET: 345.00
The Nauset Girls swim team captured first place at the 18th annual BCC swimming championships, on the heels of a perfect 9-0 regular dual meet season in the Bay Colony Swim League. Nauset won all 3 relays and had several individual first place finishes as well- Marie Chamberlain- 200 free and 100 back, Shylee Stewart- 50 free and 100 breast, Hannah Walsh- 100 fly, and Julie Hayoun- 100 free. Other highlights included: Molly Drake posting pb's in all races including 2 x 2nd place finishes in the 200 free and 100 fly, Whitney Knowlton-Wardle 3rd in the 200IM, Olivia Miller 9th in the 100 free posting a season's best time (1:01). Kara Smith 7th in the 100 fly and career best relay splits in the 50 and 100 freestyle. Macky O'Hara recorded a pb in the 100 free (1:08), as did Anna Milliken (1:08)
Hannah Walsh swam to a second place finish in the 500 free, with teammate Maddie Larson taking 7th in a pb of 6:37. Annie Harris had a stellar 3rd place performance in the 200 free behind teammates Chamberlain and Drake. Knowlton-Wardle and Allie Dadoly took 6th and 7th respectively in the 100 breaststroke. And finally personal best times were had by Juliana O'Hara and Lara Bogdanovich in the 200 IM (10th and 11th place)

The Nauset Girls will be heading to MIT this coming weekend for the state sectionals and are hoping to place in the top 3 as a team. All-States will be at Springfield College the following weekend.
