Senior tri-captain Hannah Walsh had an impressive day at the Cape Cod Classic. After winning 2 individual events and leading her team to a second place overall finish- she was named "SWIMMER OF THE MEET".
Walsh captured first place finishes in her signature races: 100 fly and 500 free
Nauset had outstanding performances from Brooke Linnell in the 200 free, Nika Dadoly in the 100 back, Katie Walters in the 100 fly and Kara Smith and Lauren Schiffenhaus in the 50 free.
Nauset placed 2nd out of 5 teams and was without top swimmers Whitney Knowlton-Wardle and Hannah Johnson. The Nauset girls have high hopes again this season and look to capture the league while also placing high at Sectionals and States. New swimmers to the program that should turn heads this season include: Cassidy Clifford, Katie Walters and the Gainey sisters: Rae and Helen.
