The Nauset Swimming and Diving Team opened their season by finishing second in the Cape & Islands League Relay Carnival behind a powerhouse Nantucket team.

Nauset won two events on the day placing first in the 200 yard Backstroke relay in a time of 1:59.02 with the team of Sophomore John Szucs, Freshman Kaitlin Bohannon, Sophomore Alexia Colella, and Freshman Tim Johnson.  In a historic moment for the Nauset Swimming and Diving Program Delaney Smith and Bella Hay also won the 1 meter diving relay with a combined score of 220.30 points.  This is the first time in the 20 plus year history of the event Nauset has won the diving relay.
