Although the Nauset Lady Warriors lost by 12 points on the road to Plymouth South, the team battled back in the fourth quarter with outstanding play from the bench. Our defense contained Plymouth South's center, which was key, and while our offense struggled early on, we got a lift from several players. Senior Captain Kristen Brown led all scorers with 13 points while Senior Brittany Silva (9 points) and Sophomore Sarah Wardlaw (8 points) gave the team a much needed boost offensively scoring 17 points down the stretch. Wardlaw was 4-5 from the line in the last minutes. Senior Kayla Smith also contributed 7 points to the effort. The team is on the road again tomorrow night at Monomoy.
