Nauset was hoping to come out victorious against the Sandwich Blue Knights (3-7), but after a close game for the first five minutes, the Knights' full court pressure proved too much for the Warriors, who struggled to get on track offensively as a result. At halftime, the Warriors were down 36-15, and they were never able to climb back out of the hole. Jrs. Carolyn Brooks (6 pts) and Kristen Brown (6 pts, 6 rebounds, and 5 steals) and freshmen point guard Callie Schadt (6 pts) lead all scorers. Kayla Smith (4 pts) lead all rebounders with 9 boards. Nauset is now 1-10 on the season and 0-5 in the ACL. The team is eager for their rematch against Monomoy on Monday 1/21, and a chance to grab win #2.
