The Warriors won big at home against Dennis-Yarmouth, 64-27, to grab their third win of the season. The victory was a team effort from start to finish, with 10 players scoring. Nauset controlled the boards, ripping down 46 rebounds as a team, and only gave up 7 turnovers. Nauset's stellar defense helped build a 32-9 lead over the Dolphins at the half. Kristen Brown was on fire, hitting four buckets and two three's for 14 points, while Kallie Hannon gave the team a strong inside presence with 10 points and 8 rebounds. Caitlin Schadt played big in the paint hauling down 13 rebounds and Kayla Smith added 6 boards as well. Other notable scorers were Brittany Silva (9 points), who was also on fire from the perimeter, Carolyn Brooks (8 pts), and Rachel Lagasse (6 pts). With two wins in a row this week, Nauset is on a roll heading into back-to-back games this coming Friday and Saturday.
