The Lady Warriors competed against Plymouth North with a tremendous amount of heart in an exciting nail biter for our Senior Night celebration. Although we came up on the short end by a bucket in overtime (46-44), the team worked hard to give our two seniors, Brittany Silva and Kayla Smith, a night to remember. Silva (4 pts) returned after going down in late January with a knee injury, and she gave us a big boost with a key three-point shot in the fourth quarter to bring us into overtime. The Warriors tied it 38-38 at the buzzer, but we lost Jenny Leyton to foul trouble and Plymouth North outscored Nauset 9-6 in the overtime. The Warriors were 2 of 10 from the line earlier in the game, which proved to be the difference down the stretch. Kristen Brown hit three 3-pointers to lead Nauset with 13 points, while Carolyn Brooks (10 pts, 10 rebounds), Jenny Leyton (6 pts), Callie Schadt (5 pts), and Caitlin Schadt (4 pts, 5steals 10 rebounds) contributed to the team effort. Caitlin Schadt and Brooks were huge on the boards for the Warriors.
