The Nauset Girls JV basketball team defeated rival Barnstable High 23-10 last night. Guard Callie Schadt led the Warriors with 7 points and also had many steals to generate the offense. Savannah Thomas, Sam Berry and Allison Burns each chipped in with 4 points as well. The key to the team's success all night was their stellar zone defense which allowed only 4 Barnstable field goals all game. Tess Ropulewis ignited the team with strong rebounding off the bench. The JV Warriors are 1-0 with three tough games next week against Falmouth, Plymouth South and Monomoy.
