The Nauset JV Girls win streak ended at three as the short-handed Warriors lost to Marshfield 47-27. Nauset's offense appeared out of sync for most of the game as evidenced by their 28 turnovers, while Marshfield's full-court pressure proved to be too much for the depleted Warriors squad. Perhaps the most telling statistic of the night came in free throws attempted. Marshfield took 18 compared with 4 from Nauset, demonstrating who was the game's aggressor.

The Warriors showed grit and determination throughout, as they refused to give in and competed end to end to the final buzzer. Leading the way offensively was Casey Taber with 7 points. Sam Berry and Maddie Roberts supported her with 6 each. The Warriors get back at it on Tuesday with a road game against Plymouth North.
