Girls JV Basketball vs. Monomoy Regional HS School

The Nauset JV Girls Basketball team won its third game in a row, 59-16, and upped their record for the season to 7-2. The Warriors used a stifling full court trap to gain control of the game early on and never let up. The lead stretched from 14-4 at the end of the first quarter to 36-8 at the half in large part due to outstanding bench play. Leading the way for the Warriors were Jenny Tulloch (12 points) and Rachel Lagasse (11 points), who both came in as reserves.

Perhaps the best stat of the night was that all 12 players for Nauset tallied points and rebounds. As a whole, the reserves accounted for 41 of the Warriors' points. Nauset hosts Dennis-Yarmouth this Wednesday and will look for its season-high fourth straight victory. A key rematch with Falmouth is slated for Friday at Nauset.
