Girls JV Basketball vs. Marshfield HS School

The Marshfield Rams JV Grils Basketball team defeated the JV Girls team from Nauset 47-24. Marshfield dominated from the start, opening a 13 point lead at the half. Their full-court pressure stymied the Warriors in the opening half and Nauset was never able to get closer than 9 points the rest of the way. Nauset showed a lot of heart and determination in the second half but were unable to pull back into the game. Their record now stands at 9-4 with all two losses each to both Marshfield and Falmouth.

The Warriors' offense was lead by Sam Berry with 8 points and Savannah Thomas with 7. Julia Taylor and Maggie Palmer each provided defensive spark off the bench and were aided by Tess Rupelewis' rebounding effort. The Warriors' next game has them hosting Plymouth-North this Friday night.
