Girls JV Basketball vs. Dennis Yarmouth HS School

The Nauset JV Girls Basketball team capped off a very successful season with a 32-19 win over the Dennis-Yarmouth Dolphins. The game proved to be a defensive battle until the third quarter when Nauset was finally able to post a period with double digit points (10) to finally open up a 17 point lead. The Warriors end the season with a very impressive record of 12-4.

Offensively, seven Warriors contributed to the line lead by Savannah Thomas' 11 points. Maddie Roberts was next with five points and also lead the Warriors' rebounding efforts. Defensively, Taylor Field, Maggie Palmer and Lizzie Douglas contributed heavily with multiple steals and strong positioning throughout the game. The Warriors' strength all season long has been defense and their 2-1-2 zone set the tone for the final game. As has been the case all year, the entire team contributed with hard effort and smart play.
