DENNIS YARMOUTH HIGH SCHOOL: 32
The Girls JV Team proved their ability and determination Friday evening at Dennis-Yarmouth Regional High School. Behind by ten points at the end of the third quarter, the Lady Warriors upped the ante; scoring 18 points in the last eight minutes of the game and winning by two. The girls worked together and played hard til the very end to gain the win over D-Y. Sophomore, Kayla Smith scored 14 points for the Warriors, ten of them in the final quarter. Katie Sullivan sunk three shots and three foul throws, adding nine points to the score. Brittany Silva, Katie Whelan, Emma Luster, Carli Thomas, and Haley Collins also scored for Nauset.
