Senior TJ King comes through in the clutch, upends Oxford HS, 5-4
TJ King brought home the winning run to give Nauset the lead in the seventh inning, as Nauset Regional Warriors Varsity hung on to beat Oxford HS 5-4 on Saturday.
Sam Majewski hit into a fielder's choice to get on base in the seventh. He then went from first to second on an RBI single by Gerritt Merrill.
Nauset staved off Oxford HS the final 6 innings as the visitors were unable to match the Warriors down the stretch.
Paul Prue got the win for Nauset. Prue pitched seven innings and allowed no runs.
Nauset rallied to score 2 runs in the 6th and 3 runs in the 7th for the walkoff win.
