Sam Majewski's single gives Nauset walk-off win over Milton HS, 3-2 Playoff Round 1
A walk-off single from Sam Majewski brought home the winning run for Nauset in a 3-2 victory over Milton HS in 10 innings at Eldredge Park on Saturday night.
Sam Majewski racked up two RBIs on two hits for the Warriors. He singled in the third and tenth innings.
Noah Grevelis got on base three times in the game for Nauset. He singled in the first and fourth innings.
Chris Holcomb started the game. He went 5 innings giving up 1 earned run while only allowing 4 hits and striking out 4.
Paul Prue recorded the win for Nauset. He pitched five shutout innings. He struck out four, walked one and surrendered three hits.
The bottom of the first saw Nauset take an early lead, 1-0. The Warriors brought home one run in the third inning, and matched that run total in the tenth. In the third, Nauset scored on an RBI single by Gerritt Merrill, plating Sam Majewski.
