JV Baseball lost 11-2 to Dennis Yarmouth High School Wednesday at D-Y despite Ronan Chisholm's two-hit day at the dish.
Mike Doherty took the loss for Nauset JV Baseball. He allowed six runs (4 earned) in five innings, walked three and struck out nine.
Nauset jumped out to an early 1-0 lead in the top of the first. The Warriors attack began with a single from Chisholm.
The lead stayed with Dennis Yarmouth after the fourth, when it scored two runs on an RBI single by Hubbard.
Dennis Yarmouth High School piled on two more runs in the bottom of the fifth. Leidner singled, plating Voutselas to start the inning. That was followed up by Downs' single, bringing home Leidner.
Dennis Yarmouth High School increased its lead with five runs in the sixth. A wild pitch scored Basil for the inning's first run.
