Owen Farrell makes 2 runs hold up for Nauset in 2-0 win over Dennis Yarmouth High School
Nauset didn't provide Owen Farrell with much support in the runs department, but he didn't need much. Farrell pitched seven strong innings to carry Nauset to a 2-0 win over Dennis Yarmouth High School in seven innings on Friday at NRHS.
Nauset held Dennis Yarmouth High School without a run while Owen Farrell was on the bump. He pitched a shutout, allowing no opposing players to cross the plate on five hits while ringing up one.
Nauset stayed on top until the final out after taking the lead in the second, scoring two runs on a two-run single by Jamie Maher.
